Floor Plan Profile: Wenatchee

Like all of our floor plans, the Wenatchee allows you to put your creativity on display while creating the perfect home for your needs. With a variety of options, as well as the adaptable layout, this home is a fantastic choice for a broad array of potential owners. Now is a perfect time to build your own home to truly get what you want, and as a home builder in Vancouver WA, we promise to make the process as helpful and smooth as possible to ensure you get your perfect home, and the Wenatchee could easily be the one.

This is a two-story home with three to five bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms, a two- to three-car garage, and 2,083 square feet. All of our floor plans include design options that can turn a home into exactly what you want, but we always try to start with a truly solid home that will meet a lot of people’s needs and wants, right from the start. As a three-bedroom home, you get a wonderfully open, airy home, thanks to plenty of windows for natural light, a covered front porch and covered back patio, not to mention a loft area that can meet a wide range of needs.

You enter from a covered front porch into a hallway that runs along the stairs. Windows along the outer wall keep it bright and welcoming and there’s a convenient half bath right at the entrance. At the end of the hallway is a coat closet at the foot of the stairs. At this point, the hallway opens up into the spacious great room with an optional fireplace and built-ins. You’re also greeted by large windows that allow plenty of light, even on the grayest of days, to make the space comfortable.

This area is an open-plan layout, but with enough definition to make each space clearly its own. A fantastic kitchen island helps to separate the great room from the spacious kitchen, which also has a walk-in pantry for plenty of storage in addition to extensive cabinetry. Next to the kitchen is the dining area, visible from the family room, but set back enough to create its own space. You also have sliding glass doors in the dining room that lead out to the covered back patio that you’re sure to enjoy. This layout can also be great for entertaining, letting guests stay outside, but keep the food fresh inside.

Next to the foot of the stairs, in the kitchen, is a door to the garage, ideal for bringing in groceries or avoiding inclement weather. With the various garage options, you should have more than enough space for cars, as well as storage or even a workshop. The home comes standard with a two-car garage, but if you add an additional garage space, you can also include an additional bedroom, den, or even a second owner’s suite, which is perfect for multi-generational living.

Upstairs, you’ll find the three bedrooms, along with a full bathroom, and a spacious laundry room that has a linen closet and an optional sink and cabinet, which can come in handy for soaking particular items or even washing small dogs without having to bend over a larger bathtub! There’s also space for storing cleaning supplies so you can have a set upstairs and down for your convenience.

Each of the bedrooms is spacious and well lit, including the wonderful owner’s suite with a large ensuite bathroom with a large shower, complete with built-in ledges for supplies and even a larger lower ledge. The owner’s suite is finished off with a large walk-in closet.

Amid the bedrooms you’ll find a loft area upstairs. This can serve a variety of purposes, as it’s large enough for a desk, as well as a sofa and coffee table, letting it serve a combination of purposes, including a study area, home office, game room, or just a quiet place to sit back and relax. In addition to the loft, there’s a small area just off the top of the stairs that could be used for a bookcase or it could even be used for a stationary bike or treadmill, letting you have a place to work out without having equipment taking up space in your bedroom or the family room.

The options to be creative in how you use the space are what make the Wenatchee such an ideal home. Take our virtual tour of the Wenatchee and then contact us to come see it for yourself. As a home builder in Vancouver WA, we’re proud to show you just how perfect this home could be for you.
