Employee Profile: Seve Kapaun

We like to introduce you to our team members – both the ones you interact with and those you may not – because we want you to get a sense of the dedication everyone here has toward building your dream home. As a home builder in SW Washington, our goal is to make sure you are listened to and that the process goes as smoothly as possible, keeping you up to date throughout. One member of our team who you are likely to meet is Seve Kapaun.

Seve is a Customer Service Representative. Seve explains that his role as a customer service rep is “Assisting new homeowners through the warranty phase of their new home, performing new home orientations, and quality control walkthroughs.”

Seve is also CESCL Certified. The Construction Stormwater General Permit requires that site inspections be conducted by a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL). This is part of the Department of Ecology in Washington State, ensuring homes are built on stable ground.

We’re fortunate that Seve has been with us for over two years and has a background as a service clerk so you know you’re in good hands. He’s there to make sure your final home is what you had agreed upon at the start of the process and works to fix any problems that may pop up occasionally. A typical day is “Meeting with homeowners to go over their list of items they want addressed, and then scheduling trades to make such repairs.” When you build with us, we are there for you even after the close.

It’s that ability to meet customers’ needs that is one of the things Seve loves most about the job and he really does love his job. Still, when the work day is over, Seve has some hobbies to keep him entertained. This Huntington Beach, California, native is an amateur painter, but as he explains, “My main interest outside of work is anything related to cars”.
