The Chinook, like all of our homes in Battleground WA – and other areas in the PNW where we build – is designed to be flexible to meet your needs now and in the future. We start with a great basic design that meets the needs of many buyers, but always offer additional options to help you create your ideal home. The Chinook, with all it has to offer already, even includes a multi-generational option if you want the extra space to create a welcoming home for additional family members.

Even without the multi-generational option, the Chinook is a spacious, well-appointed home. It has three to four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a two-car garage, and 2,687 square feet over two stories. We even have a four-bedroom version currently under construction in the Cedar Heights community of Battleground.

We start by offering six stand-out exterior design options for the Chinook, ranging from traditional to modern. Each offers a covered front porch for relaxing and protection from the elements. You enter the home via an entry that provides a sense of privacy for the rest of the home. Just off the entry is a den that could serve as an excellent home office, and includes options such as double doors and a tray ceiling. The entry takes you past a coat closet on one side and a powder room on the other, then past the stairs before leading you into the heart of the living area.

The spacious great room lives up to its name, complete with large windows for natural light. Next to the great room is the appealing kitchen, complete with a dining nook that has access to the sliding doors that lead out to the back of the home. This setup is ideal for summer entertaining. The kitchen includes a large pantry, an island with an optional extension that is useful for casual meals or just chatting. In addition, the kitchen has an entrance to a mud room that also connects to the garage, convenient for bringing in groceries as well as keeping any mud and dirt contained.

Upstairs you’ll find the three bedrooms, including the owner’s suite, which stretches the length of the home for plenty of space and privacy. You’ll also find a spa-like bathroom in the owner’s suite, a huge walk-in closet, and a linen closet. The additional two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a dual-sink vanity. The laundry room is also located on this floor for convenience and also includes a linen or storage closet depending on your needs. In addition, there’s a loft area in this home that could be turned into a fourth bedroom, but can also be used as a study area, a game room, a play area, or whatever best fits your lifestyle.
